Midnight Lullaby

I have came across jonsi a year ago and have very much admired his music, very different from the mainstream, thought his was brilliant and talented. One year later, I have discovered another hidden gem who deserves more recognition, I can't believe it took me this much of time to discover them, The Cinematic Orchestra is my new love, they are modern yet classic, if music were a drug, this would be mine. I have been listening to "To Build a Home" and "Arrival of a Bird" "Transformation" on Youtube NONSTOP.

Aesthetic!

"Arrival of the Birds" in fragrance commercial of Acqua Di Gioia by Giorgio Armani

with "Transformation", beautiful composition.

"To Build a Home"
Their music was featured in commercials, movies, TV series and documentaries.

A viewer, summerbabewtf, wrote:
"How strange it is that music can be as moving as music is. How utterly bizzarre that a collection of notes organized in a certain fashion can bring you to tears. How completely counter-intuitive it is that a certain song can leave you smiling on your hardest days, while another goes un-listened to, because it leaves you devastated. Music can make me feel light, and heavy, and dark, and fragile, and strong, and completely and utterly filled with life. All just vibrations in the air."

well said :)

goodnight

Music Therapy

I always find that music is the way out, listening to the type of music you like at night alone, is just a good way to sort things out, have been doing that tonight, feeling good :) I have checked out the Dear John OST, didn't know there were only 10 songs all together, even though, i find it very john mayer, very country and folk, a bit of indie, i like it a lot! My favorite will be The Moon by The Swell Season and the Dear John Theme song, it just made me cry listening to it, it's so beautiful. See if i could find the song for you on youtube.

my second favorite is This Is The Thing :) it seems soooo familiar, i think i heard this somewhere, love the lyrics:

I don't know if you noticed anything different
It's getting dark and it's getting cold and the nights are getting long
I don't know if you even noticed at all
That I'm long gone baby, I'm long gone

And the things that keep us apart keep me alive and
The things that keep me alive keep me alone

This is the thing

I don't know if you notice anything missing
Like the leaves on the trees or my clothes all over the floor
I don't know if you'll even notice at all
Coz I was real quiet when I closed the door

And the things that keep us apart keep me alive and
The things that keep me alive keep me alone

This is the thing

I don't know if you notice anything different
I don't know if you even notice at all
I don't know if you notice anything missing

This Is The Thing
This Is The Thing
This Is The Thing
This Is The Thing

hope u like it!

OWL CITY

Owl City has been me and my MrJ's favourite these days :)))
Strawberry Avalanche

it's just soooo joyful
Lyrics here:
This is a world of dreams and reverie
Where I felt the stars explode around me.
A grass blade flashed with a gleam as it slashed open a moon beam
And I stared back breathlessly as mountains of fruit tumbled out;
I barely had the chance to shout.
A strawberry avalanche crash over me.
Staying awake that night was rather hard
Deep in a sleeping bag in your backyard.
When we woke up buried alive beneath the fruity landslide we both laughed hysterically.
It could've been just another dream, but I swear I heard you scream.
A strawberry avalanche crash over me.
Always a citrus constellation in the galaxy, scratched on the back
Of both my eye lids that I've been dying to see.
If you were a beautiful sound and the echo's all around,
Then I'd be your harmony and we'd sing along with the crowds
Beneath the candy coated clouds of strawberry avalanche, please crash over me.

See the world of dreams and reverie where I felt the stars explode around me.

ENJOY

ps. Good Luck to the both of us tomorrow =)
